SME Capital is delighted to be supporting Manchester based Caecillian Ltd with their recent management buyout.
Caecillian Ltd is a leading Utilities Contractor working across the North West and Yorkshire. The business has developed a strong reputation within the Utilities sector and works under Framework Agreements as a main contractor (Tier 1) to Northern Gas Networks and Cadent Gas as well as a subcontractor (Tier 2) to clients such as Network Plus, Morrison Water Services & Avove.
The current Directors, James Lawton and Chris Wood have agreed a 100% MBO of Caecillian Limited from the existing shareholders, Peter Hemlin & Michael Cassinelli.

“Caecillian has established an excellent reputation in this critical sector, supporting Utility companies in the Gas & Water sectors. The MBO is the next stage in the continued development of the business.
We have been pleased to support James & Chris in this transaction. This is another excellent introduction from Manchester CF boutique Cole Associates. Thanks to all involved including all at our lawyers, Clarion.”
