SME Capital back MBO for Manchester based Utilities Contractor

SME Capital is delighted to be supporting Manchester based Caecillian Ltd with their recent management buyout.

Caecillian Ltd is a leading Utilities Contractor working across the North West and Yorkshire. The business has developed a strong reputation within the Utilities sector and works under Framework Agreements as a main contractor (Tier 1) to Northern Gas Networks and Cadent Gas as well as a subcontractor (Tier 2) to clients such as Network Plus, Morrison Water Services & Avove.

The current Directors, James Lawton and Chris Wood have agreed a 100% MBO of Caecillian Limited from the existing shareholders, Peter Hemlin & Michael Cassinelli.

The transaction will allow the founding shareholders to exit. The MBO team at Caecillian will then be able to move to the next phase of its impressive growth story.
